16 Dec 2024 / Events

A webinar titled "Projects and Policy-making: Contribution of the Green Deal Call Projects to the Nature Restoration Law" is taking place on Tuesday, 10 December 2024, from 15:00 to 16:30 CET.

Organized by the Green Deal Projects Support Office (GD-SO), this webinar will highlight the significant contributions of four Horizon 2020 Green Deal Call projects - MERLIN, REST-COAST, SUPERB, and WaterLANDS - to the development and implementation of the Nature Restoration Law (NRL), adopted by the European Council on 17 June 2024.

The session will delve into how these projects have supported the policy-making process, what are the challenges encountered along the way, and what are the effective drivers that facilitate meaningful contributions to policy.

This webinar will also provide an excellent opportunity for other EU-funded projects to learn how these 4 Green Deal projects' work can effectively influence policy, bridging the gap between research and action.
