Job Opportunity: Researcher in Biodiversity Governance at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ)

The Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) is seeking a post-doctoral researcher to join their team and contribute to the DAISY project (DigitAl, TechnologIcal, and Social innovation mixes enabling biodiversity and equitY), which explores land-use processes with transformative potential.

Location: Leipzig

Working Time: 60-100% (Full-time or part-time available)

Contract Duration: 14 months (01.02.2025 – 31.03.2026), with the possibility of extension

The post-doctoral researcher will support the analysis of policy dynamics and transformative interventions for biodiversity governance. The position provides an opportunity for tackling complex challenges at the intersection of research and practice, focusing on the coordination of the work package on governance and enablers of transformative change.
