Europe’s food and farming systems are at a crossroads. While agroecology offers promising solutions to enhance biodiversity, improve food quality, and support ecosystem health, its adoption has been slower than needed to meet today’s environmental and societal challenges. How can we accelerate this transition?
As part of its mission to strengthen science-policy-society interfaces, the BioAgora Project, funded under Horizon Europe, is organizing a collaborative workshop to explore how agroecological practices can drive systemic transformation in European food systems.
Date: February 21st, 2025
Time: 14:00 - 16:00 CET
Location: Online
This interactive session will equip researchers and practitioners with tools to evaluate and enhance the transformative potential of their work. Participants will engage in guided discussions, share insights, and collaboratively identify strategies to advance agroecological transitions.
Why join this workshop?
This workshop will build on the collective expertise of participants, fostering mutual learning and strengthening connections between research and practice. The insights generated will also contribute to BioAgora’s broader effort to engage policymakers, businesses, and civil society in shaping the future of sustainable food systems in Europe.
