The University of Trento, specifically its Planning for Ecosystem Services and Urban Sustainability Laboratory (PLANES Lab), has recently unveiled a new position for a postdoctoral researcher. The posting will be for a period of two years, focusing on urban ecosystem services and nature-based solutions in planning and policy-making processes.
The PLANES Lab itself grounds its research in sustainability science, bringing together various fields such as landscape ecology, planning theory, spatial analysis and impact assessment. Through inter-disciplinary and empirical research, particular emphasis is afforded to the topics of urban and spatial planning, climate adaptation and environmental design.
This opportunity is jointly funded by Horizon projects BioAgora, SELINA (Science for Evidence-based and sustainabLe decIsions about NAtural capital) and SOLO (Soils for Europe).
