An upcoming event is set to bring together nine members of the so-called Transformative Change Cluster of EU-funded initiatives in their synergistic pursuit of actionable knowledge in biodiversity governance. The group consists of the projects BioAgora, CLEVER, BioValue, Rainforest, Bamboo, Bedrock, Bionext, BioTraces, and TRANSPATH. The occasion in question is the conference and public panels on “Mainstreaming Biodiversity in Policy-Making”, which will take place in the city of Brussels between 4 and 5 June 2025.
At its core, the event is meant to foster a conversation between policy-makers, scientists, business leaders and civil society. This discussion will revolve around the requirements for and practicalities of integrating biodiversity considerations into decision-making frameworks, particularly at the European level.
