BioAgora Science-Policy Interface (SPI) Dialogue Workshop: Supporting Member State Authorities in Developing and Implementing Nature Restoration Regulation (NRR) Action Plans
Event Description
On behalf of BioAgora, the University of Bucharest, the Research Centre in Systems Ecology and Sustainability (RCES), the Leibniz-Institute of Freshwater Ecology and Inland Fisheries (IGB) and the Norwegian Institute for Nature Research (NINA) are pleased to invite expressions of interest for participation in a two-day Science-Policy Interface Dialogue workshop, to be held at the Botanical Garden in Bucharest, Romania. Taking place on 2 and 3 June 2026, the event will bring together representatives from EU institutions, national authorities and research organisations as well as practitioners, with a particular focus on Southeast European Member States. The workshop is the second in this format and will facilitate a joint reflection on the implementation of the Nature Restoration Regulation (NRR).
Its main objective is to identify NRR-related:
- implementation gaps
- administrative burdens
- practical needs
- opportunities for exchange, coordination and mutual learning
